Cost of the War in Iraq

The last day of October surprised me by being much cooler than I had dressed for and then raining most of the day, Halloween.
Now that the weekend known as "Day of the Dead" is here there is a hazy cool crisp feeling in the air. Quite a change from the 80 degree weather of just a few days before.
Like the arrival of fall, there are lots of changes here. In a sense they weren't planned for and took us by surprise too. Actually, it is all part of the cycle of life. At this point it feels like a bad dream we will see when we wake up.
For now, we will bundle up and go about our normal activities, starting with a walk to our favorite breakfast. Mexican style. We will have Day of the Dead t-Shirts on too.
Off we go.
